為了重建彩虹道遊樂場休憩用地，發展局轄下的起動九龍東辦事處與建築署聯合舉辦彩虹道遊樂場休憩用地設計比賽。為了讓參賽者更能掌握社區街坊的需要和期望，是次工作坊邀請了新蒲崗的老街坊，與專業人士組別及學生組別的參賽者現場交流，討論新蒲崗的過去、歷史、文化生活、與他們心目中公園的未來。
This Competition is co-organised by Energizing Kowloon East Office (“EKEO”) of the Development Bureau and Architectural Services Department (“ArchSD”) for redeveloping the Open Space at Choi Hung Road Playground. In order for the competition participants to understand community needs and expectations, we organised a community engagement workshop, inviting San Po Kong’s old Kaifongs to share with the professional group and student group participants the neighbourhood’s past, histories, cultures, lives and their ideas of future of the park.
